What Data We Collect

Account data: Your email address and hashed password when you register.

Analysis reports: When you upload a contract, we retain only the analysis output — the list of flagged issues, severity ratings, plain-language explanations, and negotiation questions. We do not retain your raw contract file or the full text extracted from it.

Payment data: Processed entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID. We never see or store your credit card number.

Usage data: Standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security monitoring. Logs are retained for 30 days.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not share your contract content or analysis reports with any third party, except as required by law or to operate the service.
• We do not use your contract content to train AI models.
• We do not store the raw text of your uploaded contracts beyond the processing session.

How We Protect Your Data

• All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
• Data at rest is encrypted (AES-256, managed by our cloud database provider).
• Access to your reports is restricted to your authenticated account only.
• Contracts are processed in memory and discarded after analysis is complete.

Data Retention and Deletion

Analysis reports are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete individual reports at any time from your dashboard. You may request complete account deletion by emailing support@contractiqllc.com. We will delete all your data within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to maintain your login state. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
